BIG HORN — The Brinton Museum presents the first in a series of new exhibitions, Brinton Artists in Residence, beginning this September. The 2019 Brinton Artists in Residence show features six diverse, nationally-recognized artists who were invited for two-week residencies in 2018 to create art en plein air.

This year’s inaugural exhibit, on display in the Jacomien Mars Reception Gallery beginning Sept. 7, includes nearly 50 works in oil, pastel and watercolor by Victor Juhasz of Averill Park, New York; Jessica Garrett of Glendale, Arizona; John Potter of Red Lodge, Montana; Denise LaRue Mahlke of Waco, Texas; Terri Wells of Austin, Texas; and Jacob Aguiar of Scarborough, Maine.
