SHERIDAN — Wyoming Community Service Providers recently recognized Lindsey Ennis, direct support professional, at Easterseals Wyoming as the state’s 2020 Direct Support Professional of the Year.

The award is given each year in conjunction with National Direct Support Professionals Week and recognizes outstanding professionals who provide supports and services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The award also celebrates the important role direct support professionals play in ensuring individuals with I/DD can be included and empowered in their communities.

“Easterseals Wyoming is extremely proud of Lindsey’s accomplishments and this well-deserved recognition,” said Jesse Dahl, director for Easterseals Wyoming. “Lindsey wants to see each person she interacts with achieve their dreams and experience all life has to offer. She promotes individuals’ independence as much as possible reminding them all they can achieve their goals and dreams as long as they do not give up.”
