Steamboat point is located right off of Highway 14, outside of Dayton, Wyoming. It offers stunning views of the Cloud Peak Wilderness, Tongue River Canyon, and high-country meadows. 

Directions:

Heading west on I-90 from Sheridan, take exit 9 onto Highway 14 and pass through the towns of Ranchester and Dayton, toward Burgess Junction. Just 10 miles from Dayton, use the parking lot on the right side of Highway 14 for access to the trailhead.
